Today I went out to Gardenia for Gado Gado (tofu, tempeh, lots of veggies, all with peanut sauce), so tonight it was back to the night market for all this:
Yes, all fried (goring) in coconut oil...bananas, jackfruit, tofu, tempeh...this (it is a 14" plate) cost me a little over a dollar. No, I did not eat it all tonight! Just five pieces of fruit. I also had a jackfruit smoothie...$0.82. I know, a real splurge!
